Meet the Experts Behind Our Magic

Michael and Jennifer Lewis started M&J Photography in Mexico soon after they were married on a Cozumel beach. For the next eight years, they photographed weddings and engagment sessions in the Riviera Maya (Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Isla Mujeres, Cancun and Tulum), Oaxaca, New Mexico, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Missouri and New York.

Michael has been a professional photographer for more than 40 years, working for numerous magazines, corporations and National Geographic. He will be the principal photographer for all sessions.

Jennifer started her professional photography career in 2009, shooting travel images for the National Geographic Image Collection and being a partner with M&J Photography. She is also an accomplished healer, massage therapist and Reiki Master. Depending on her schedule, she will assist Michael in all sessions except for the 30-minute Flash Sessions. If Jennifer is not available, a professional second photographer will be added.

When Michael and Jennifer are not working, you might find them cycling along the Bosque. They love being at home working in their greenhouse and in their extensive garden, in addition to spending time with their two rescue dogs and two rescue cats: Yoda, Khaleesi, Ruby and Lily.
